Anthony Triolo is a Senior Government Relations Specialist with over 20 years of experience in the Global South, specializing in transitional justice, rule of law, access to justice, and sustainable development. He was the Strategic Initiatives Director at the Rule of Law Collaborative (ROLC) and Senior Program Officer at Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies, focusing on increasing global access to justice, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has held senior roles at various UN organizations and international bodies in Rome, The Hague, and Freetown. At the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ request, Triolo served as a Senior Advisor to an International Task Force on Justice and organized a 2019 summit of Ministers of Justice from g7+ conflict-affected countries, leading to the adoption of a Declaration and Joint Action Plan on Equal Access to Justice. He also served as Head of Office at the UN-backed Special Court for Sierra Leone, enhancing the Court’s visibility among key donor countries.
