Arthur Romano

Arthur is an International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law Expert possessing extensive and specialized expertise in legal research across multiple regions. He has contributed to several projects for Glasshouse, including labour rights in Bangladesh, anti-corruption efforts in Côte d’Ivoire, humanitarian legal frameworks in Ukraine, and a comprehensive report on child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He has strong background knowledge of international legal frameworks, having authored reports and conducted research in areas such as public interest litigation, anti-corruption strategies, labour laws, as well as the protection of civilians in conflict and post-conflict zones confers great support to capacity-building initiatives for international organizations and stakeholders.

He also serves as a teaching-assistant at the Catholic University of Lyon on international and European human rights law and public and and methodology in public law for first-year students. Arthur holds a Joint Master’s Degree in Humanitarian Action from Aix-Marseille University and the University of Warsaw through the NOHA Consortium along with a Master’s degree in International and Regional Human Rights Law from the Catholic University of Lyon. He speaks French and English.
