French development professional with over 10 years of experience in supporting civil society partners in responding to governance and conflict dynamics in their communities, principally in Guatemala and the DR Congo. Ms Benoit recently led an anti-corruption intervention in the DR Congo to reduce the costs of corruption in tax administration and strengthen the ability of female entrepreneurs to resist corruption. Working through social accountability mechanisms, she has built capacity of human rights defenders, private sector, civil society and public sector actors on access to justice, women’s rights, and anticorruption issues. She speaks French, English and Spanish.
