Ticiana Palumbo is a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Expert Specialized in Psychological Trauma, Gender Based Violence, Witness Protection and Emergency Psychology with over 20 years of professional experience.
She has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Diploma in Social Sciences, Gender and Public Policies. For over 15 years, she has worked for numerous international organizations, including three years in the Democratic Republic of Congo, three years in The Netherlands (The Hague) and regular missions to East and West Africa (Kenya, Sudan, Central African Republic, Ivory Coast and Uganda).
She most recently supported the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine, delivering technical assistance to civil society organizations whilst implementing mental health sensitive approaches to transitional justice and trauma informed interventions.
In addition to working with Glasshouse Initiatives Inc., Ticiana has worked as a Psychologist at the International Criminal Court, at the Victims and the Witness Protection Section for 8 years.
She is also a Psychosocial Expert for Justice Rapid Response providing expert advice on psychosocial issues in different situations, including the Special Jurisdiction for Peace in Colombia. Ticiana also works as a Mental Health Clinician with the KonTerra Group providing counseling to humanitarian aid workers around the world, whilst also facilitating workshops and trainings in secondary traumatization, resilience, self-care and PSTD.
She is a native Spanish speaker, and speaks English, Italian and French.
